On the auspicious occasion of 75th Milaad Mubarak of His Holiness Saiyedna Taiyeb Ziyauddin Saheb (TUS) an announcement about the formation of Merchants' Association was made by Da'wat-e-Hadiyah. To substantiate our planning, the Alavi Bohra Merchants' Association was eventually established and instituted on 26th Jumaad il-Aakhar 1426 – 1 st August 2005 when a general body meeting was held at Markaz-e-Husaini. The meeting was headed by Saiyedi Maazoon Saheb (DM). The general body meeting showed a very warm response where about 250 mumineen out of 300, who own a shop, participated in the gathering. Through this association, mumineen who needs guidance, financial help and support will be focused upon. Looking at the stupendous losses in the manufacturing field, this association will encourage, buoy up and bolster the mumineen to invest in the business and trade. Also those who are unemployed will get the benefit of this association where they will be given appropriate employment opportunities according to their credentials, aptitude and interest. To expand the compass of provision and service, muminaat of our community who are occupied in making home products will also get the benefit, where their productions will be made available in the market through various means by the association. The meeting began with the crowning speech of Maazoon Saheb (DM) after which the objectives and aims of the association were discussed and the working committee was framed which was followed by the dinner for all the participants. Till now almost 260 mumineen have already enrolled themselves as the member of the association.
